TARGET AUDIENCE

MN CIMIC Group’s courses are generally open, with different priorities and percentages to:

  • MNCG personnel / MNCG participating Nations Mil. & Civ. Personnel about to be deployed to Operational Theatres;

  • MNCG personnel / MNCG participating Nations Mil. & Civ. Personnel;

  • NATO Mil. & Civ. personnel;

  • IOs/NGOs/Gos personnel;

  • other Civ. personnel with a vested interest in CIMIC issues;

 

despite "first come, first served" policy will apply, Course Director maintain overall responsibility on student selection process in accordance with NATO and MNCG priorities.

 

Training and education will be developed in such a way that maximum participation of the students can be achieved through syndicate work and panel discussions in order to consolidate knowledge obtained from formal lectures, to encourage discussions and synthesise ideas. Besides the training of CIMIC personnel of the participating nations, this CIMIC Training centre will be able to train other CIMIC personnel and civilian personnel as well. The CJ7 branch will also be available to play a role in CIMIC education on a national basis for the armed forces of the participants on request and subject to availability.

 

 

TRAINING AND EDUCATION ADVERTISING

Courses, seminars, workshops and CIMIC training news in general will be published as appropriate in MNCG official web portal pages and other institutions’ web pages such as: CIMIC Center of Excellence (CCoE), CFC/CMO, Reliefweb, ecc.

A newsletter will be periodically sent out to interested subscribers with the last CIMIC training information.

DRESS CODE

Dress code for all MNCG courses is Combat uniform (BDU) for military personnel, casual dress for civilians. On the last day military personnel are allowed to attend the course in civil clothes to facilitate travel arrangements.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Every participant is required to check with his/her country’s appropriate authorities whether he/she needs a VISA for entering Italy.
No invitation letters can be provided by this HQ
