Cadets of the United States Military Academy, West Point, accompanied by the Professor responsible for the Civil-Military Academic Individual Advanced Development Program (AIAD) visited the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) from 21 to 30 May.

The visit is part of the summer cultural exchange of West Point academic studies. It has been specifically requested by them, thanks also to the good relationship, and the multiannual cooperation, between the MNCG and the United States Army 1 st Special Warfare Training Group, Fort Bragg.

During their stay, the cadets attended the CIMIC Awareness Course and the practical phase of the NATO CIMIC Field and Staff Worker Course, where they took part in role plays, made more realistic thanks to the collaboration with the Local Institutions that were involved in the simulations, as civil component, in a hypothetical crisis area.

The course tailored to the training needs of the specialists to be deployed in ever-changing and complex international environment, offered to the students the opportunity to strengthen and to enlarge the knowledge in the specific civil and military cooperation field.
