The Arrcade Fusion 2019 is Over

The phase of conduct (from 9 to 26 November) of the NATO exercise called "ARRCADE FUSION 2019" (AF2019) to which the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) participated, providing one CIMIC operator acting as CIMIC Battalion and a CIMIC cell Chief for 3 different divisions (UK, USA, CANADA) granting the fulfillment of all functions related to civil-military cooperation within the exercise.

The exercise, designed to test the procedures foreseen in an art.5 operation, or in the case of collective defense of the member states of the Atlantic Alliance, was aimed at training the forces operating under NATO ARRC HQ (Allied Rapid Reaction Force) and it was a key event in the NATO community.

The Multinational CIMIC Group operators, acting as subordinate units Response Cell in support of ARRC Headquarters, has carried out the delicate function of linking the countries concerned, has guaranteed a continuous updating and a careful evaluation of the civil environment, also advising the staff of the HQ on the possible impacts that military actions could have on the population.
