ADIN 25 – DISTINGUISHED VISITORS DAY HIGHLIGHTS MULTINATIONAL COMMITMENT TO CIMIC READINESS
The afternoon of 4 December 2025 marked one of the most significant moments of ADIN 25 – Strengthening CIMIC Capabilities in a Multi-Domain Environment, as the Multinational CIMIC Group hosted the exercise’s Distinguished Visitors Day at its headquarters in Motta di Livenza.
The event brought together a large and representative delegation from the Allied and Partner Nations participating in the exercise, along with international observers, NATO command representatives, and several institutional guests. Their presence underscored both the scale of ADIN 25 and the strategic importance attributed to civil-military cooperation within the Alliance.
During the visit, guests were welcomed with an operational briefing on the Command Post Exercise, where they observed how multinational staff elements work side by side to analyse the civil environment and support the decision-making processes required by the scenario.
The delegation then moved to a field demonstration that realistically showcased the work of a Tactical CIMIC Team: operators travelled along the Livenza River on military boats, conducted a coordinated landing, and initiated a liaison activity with civilian actors, replicating the dynamics typical of modern multinational operations.
The strong participation and interest shown during the Distinguished Visitors Day confirmed the growing relevance of CIMIC capabilities in multi-domain operations and the role of the Multinational CIMIC Group as a unique platform where nations train together, share expertise, and strengthen interoperability.
ADIN 25 will conclude on 5 December, with final assessments and lessons identified contributing to upcoming multinational training cycles.
